Hey Dan- Sorry i haven't been on for a bit, busy watching my Red Sox kick butt. Yes, the flames on the '34 are from the Merc kit. They just seemed to fit so well I had to use them. I'm thinking of heading over to Sarasota next Thursday, I'll let you know, maybe we can have a brew..who's the dude in the Speedo??? -Jon
Cool model room! I see your building the big deuce, mine is still untouched in the box. Isn't a house so much better than a apartment? I've been so busey, didn't get to go to modelpalooza.
Great to hear that your staying in the south. It gets too cold up there! I delt with 23 winters in kentucky and it sucks! Besides the Florida car show scene is gettin better and better! More guys are getting into the old skool scene. You'll see less billet and trailer queens and more traditional hot rods and customs. You should try and make modelpalooza in Orlando the 17th of this month. I'm meeting bill and mike out there.
Hey there Dano! Cool art site you sent. I'm workin on some new stuff, just have to scan it in. I just ordered some new Coker wide whites for the shoebox.
I see you collect die cast cars. I have a few 1:18 scale ones. I have a Hot Wheels red '69 Dodge Charger, a 1973 Trans Am (white), and a 1979 black Trans Am with Screaming Chicken on it. I'd like to collect more and get a wall display case for viewing. I'd like to have the Danbury Mint's General Lee. Pretty pricey nowadays.
Thanks for Your KInd Comment on My Sedan Delivery ! Good to see another Skins Fan, I grew up on Northern Va. (Alexandria) and have always loved the Skins, Hot Rods and Kustom Cars. I enjoyed Your Albums Thaanks again !
Had a great time at Billetproof all except for the model car show, oh yeah the weather in the end was bad. My wipers pooped out on me! See Florida is gettin better and better with "the scene". It's a good reason you should stay here and not move!!
