I've visited on numerous occasions, but wanted to formally thank you for a fantastic compilation of all that makes a gearhead's life worth living!! Thanks for all the hard work and the killer presentation! Hat's off to ya!!
Nice site. I own the 1970 Challenger in photos 48, 64-66,81 and 82 on the 05/20/03 site at Fuddruckers. I am the second owner; I have owned the car since November 1973. It just went through a 19 month, $42,000 plus restoration. The car is NOT an R/T, but was optioned like one. It came with the 383 4-barrel, ralley guages, dual racing mirrors and SE chrome trim. I have added the dual cutout rear valance, go-wing (an original 1970 wing), side stripes, R/T hood and hood blackout. The block and heads are original. The engine has been beefed up to 400+ HP, and the torqueflite tranny has a street/strip kit in it. The original 3:23 rearend has been replaced with a 3:55. The white interior and ralley red paint are the original colors. The car originally had a white vinyl top (deleted years ago due to rust below the rear window) and two white pinstripes on the sides.
We're going to be in SoCal in June with maybe $10,000 to spend on a ride to bring back to England. Something early 60's Chevy, El Camino, maybe 50's truck..whatever. Email me at dw123@hotmail.com. Love the site...all those cars in the sunshine...!!!!
Thought your pictures were neat. I use to live in california so it is neat to see the old cars that I use to see. Am looking for a 37 38 39 Cadillac convertible. Keep up the good work
What a site!!!!! I have been late to work 3 weeks in a row getting lost in all the great pictures and looking for the latest shows. Just yesterday I was in the wheels folder, finding a pic for another Merc friend "Ted" to show him a wheel and there it was, then his car was in the "Customs and flames dept" so it was easy to make the comparison. so many great pictures and so little time. Thanks Dave and thanks for all the great shots of "SUNDANCE"!!! Your the Best!!!
