  • I would like to have a natural hair meet up in Bermuda on Sunday, May 20, 2011.  I haven't been in Bermuda in quite some time, so I don't know what restaruants would be nice to go to.  Like the Dirty Olive?  Anyways I think it would be fun and encouraging for all the BDA ladies.  Please let me know if you would like to attend, and if you have any recommendations.  Tootles.

Hey Ok I've been debating texturizing my hair for a minute...I seriously need to update my pics on here bc I've been wearing my puff out for nearly 5 months now...but do you regret texturizing your hair? Like do you have any extra damage or dryness because of it...is your hair still growing good? It's beautiful by the way...completely natural and texlaxed!!

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for the suggestion. The thing that I've noticed with my application of the ecostyler is that when I'm precise (section, smooth in, etc.) it takes forever to dry but when I just put some in my hand rub it through (less precision), drying time is much shorter.

My hair has always taken forever to try even during my relaxer days. Drying time was usually an hour under the dryer, minimum. When I was a child, during the summer months, mom would shampoo my hair, braid it up and send me out to play.

I really need your help. I'd like to texlax in the future and I have no idea how to retouch it properly. Can you give me advice? I'm going to use Revlon Realistic. This relaxer always gave me great results.

Thanks for replying to my last message. I can't tell you how many people just ignore messages. I really appreciate all the help I can get. Do you use the ayurvedic oils at all?

It's nice to finally see a texlaxed fotki. Your hair is gorgeous! I can't wait til I grow out my texlaxed tresses. I'm still holding on to my relaxed ends for length so I don't know what it completely looks like, but I hope it looks like your hair when I completely BC.
