Hi Viviane, I tried to leave you a comment on your photo in the contest, it wouldn't work, it's a Beautiful Shot, I wish you Good Luck! Hug's, ~Debbie~
The Dribki guestbook and comments window are now open! (The only major feature still missing from the comments is a link back to the main page.) Open comments for any one photo, and then check off "all comments" to get the equivalent of the left-side comments link on Fotki. The big difference on Dribki is that you can quickly sort messages and comments, or limit them to a specific date and/or author.
Also note that you can keep the comment window open and it will change when you click on a new photo in the main view.
I haven't worked much on loading new photos - I wanted to make sure everything worked first. I had kept this private before, but I'll throw it out there for anyone who wants to browse because I desperately need people to find the bugs and make suggestions.
Then after all functionality is in there, I'll try to make it a bit prettier with icons and so on.
Hello .Thank you very much for the comment on my photo in the Home and House contest. “Alcatraz House” entry. Much appreciate the comment. It was a great place to visit, truly historic and marvelous. -Ken-
Hello Viviene, thank you for leaving such a nice comment on my pics. I love your dishes section (and not only) everything looks really delicious. Have a good evening Bora-bora
Oh Viviane, just because I bought vegemite doesn't mean I'm actually going to eat it! :-) It's simply one of those supreme acts of love one occasionally commits. But seriously, I thought the stuff was awful when I first tried it...yet I am told again and again I must discover its magic. So I'll try. I hope all's well and I do want to talk!!!!! I miss you! Hugs, Joanna
Arohanui Christel ---- this is not what I meant Christel....where are all the previous tips and master classes gone then? I don't think they deleted them, it was loads of usual information!
Hi Viviane, Here are the first pix from our trip to Philadelphia. These were all made at the Philadelphia Zoo. Many more to come from the zoo, as well as those from in the city. This first batch is distributed in these three albums:
Hi Viviane, how are you ? All is well here with plenty of colour in the garden now . just enjoyed your Antwerp album , was there a few years ago when the tall ships visited . Regards Alan
Hi Viv......that fly head shot is out of this world. You really have to write a journal about your techniques. A lot of Fotkins would be interested (including me) and you might even spawn an insect shooting society within the group. Nicely done.
Mike ---- I did quite some time ago, Peter asked me to! it is here:
It is a basic starters manual really, so if you want some more details ...you know where to find me. I have that ring flash now which makes a big difference in the aperture I can use....and I also learned a few things about the little bugs while shooting them...so maybe I should update the tutorial. But I think there is not much interest in macro to be honest...??? what do you think?
Dear Viviane it was a complete joy to find your much appreciated & enjoyed comments on my captures ,wow Viviane I am so thrilled that you visited & enjoyed the photography!!!! As always I have found some gems here while visiting ,boy oh boy you sure are one clever lady, I admire your work so much!!! Take care ,be happy, be well !!! Warmest wishes from li'l old New Zealand ~ Lynne
Hi Viviane The Shamrock is Irish. Like the Thistle in Scotland. Irene --- I know...but this one is part of the building so they are not allowed to remove it...not even when they are Scottish Irene! LOL
We blijven eerst twee dagen in New York gaan dan richting New Haven, en daarna of richting Boston of richting Hudson. De tweede week is voor Philadelphia en Cape May. Hoe en wat exact, ach het is en blijft vakantie toch?
