Hi Ron, What a bummer of a trip. It sounds like the airline was not much help in making you comfortable on the trip home.
I have to agree with you. I used to like to fly, but it is no fun any more. The seats are uncomfortable and too close together. In fact, I now call Tourist Class the Sardine Section. Service seems to be getting worse and the latest mergers are not going to help at all.
Although the security measures can be annoying, Janet and I have learned how to deal with them and we have little problem there. In fact, some of the screeners have been quit helpful.
Take care and mend well. Meanwhile get lots of rest and all the exercise the doctors will allow. Our prayers are with you for a full and speedy recovery.
Cheers!
Peirce

I THANK YOU FOR TAKEING TIME OUT TO DROP BY,,MY FRIEND YOU HAVE A NICE WEEKEND,,LINDA
Hi Uncle Ron Thanks for your comments.Sorry I didn't make it clear where my pictures are taken. Most of my pictures are taken in Scotland unless I have been on holiday. Knockan Crag is in Rosshire in the north of Scotland. It is a special tourist centre built to tell people about the geology of the area and the pictures in this album are views taken from the car park looking out towards the mountains. I live in the north of Scotland in a little place called Tarbet and when we visit Ullapool 50 miles away we always stop here to give the dogs a run and the view changes all the time. I will geo tag it so you know where it is and you will also see Tarbet. Irene
Hi Ron, I thank you very much for your kind comment and compliment on my picture.I'm glad that you like it! I wish you Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Best regards, Nicole from Luxembourg
Hi Ron, I finally got the OK to remove the password from the album of pictures for the Southbury Library's submission for an architecture award. We did not win, but it was a good effort. We are quite proud of our new library building.
Thanks for your comment, Ron. I've been on Fotki for several months, but have just recently started going through and enjoying some of the other photos on here. What a wealth of photos! -Greg
In answer to your question--the number of pix I have out on Fotki, according to the stats is just under 5000. A couple of hundred are not mine, but by other photographers to whom I am loaning some space. Those are mostly in the reunion picture albums.
In the preliminary event leading to the Special Olympics Softball Connecticut State Tournament, the Wise Guys, Too won two for two today. In their first game, they beat the team with whom the tied in Danbury two weeks ago, the New London Wildcats, with a score of 3-2. In the second game, the Wise Guys, Too beat the Sarah Angel Sox 8-1. Our record for the season, so far, 4 wins, 1 tie, 0 lost.
The State Tournament will be September 7, 8, 9, at the Sports Complex in North Branford, CT.
