Greetings Toy, I visited your album a couple years ago when I returned natural after cutting my locs and relxing (momentary insanity!). I always knew I would loc again but wasn't sure when. I am ready now and just wanted to let you know that your album is very informative. I am still trying to decide between sister locs and braid locs. My hair is very thin/fine so I have to choose carefully the right method for my hair. I saw you mention Jeanine's (sp?) hair salon. I am in STL and was thinking about calling for a consolation. If you have any other contacts in STL, please share if you don't mind.
I recently visited your page & I am so excited about bradelocs. I have been natural for 1 yr & I had recently decided to start locking my hair using the twist method. However, I soon became concerned about how often I had to re-twist my hair after washing. You have answered my prayers & after seeing your transition I immediately combed out the twists & had a friend braid my hair similar to your day one bradelocs. This only happened about 2 days ago & wanted to know what your regimen was when you initally started bradelocs (particularly in terms of washing, products, etc)? Thanks for the inspiration & I appreciate any advice you can give.
