Это была "официальная" часть, а вообще - спасибо огромное за комментарии, очень вдумчивые они. Другие, чем большинство оставляет. А уж за теплые слова в Guest Book.... А "хорошие работы"... Просто у нас разделение труда. Цифровая камера есть пока только у меня (да у Женьки), так что фотографии почти все мои, а вот отбор - мужа. Он от силы одну фотографию из 30 допускает до сайта (кроме фотографий с посиделок или прочих сборищ, там отбор менее жесткий). Его фотографии на порядок лучше, но он пока снимает обычной камерой и только-только начал сканировать свои негативы. Вот если купим ему на день рождения камеру, то либо меня задвинут совсем, либо придется второй аккаунт заводить.
А интересная у вас, однако, фото-жизнь. И Фотки Эстония, и Фотки просто с нашим блогом! Побродила по альбому Dynamic Eternity - столько удовольствия получила!

I wanted to take a look at the photos in your "Pancake Week Portraits" album but the site is VERY slow. Is it because of the contests or is there another reason? I find it very hard to use Fotki in the last few days because of this slowness.

You wrote that I can find the description through My Entries. This is true for contests that ended. In a contest that is still open for submission, if I click on my thumbnail, I'm directed to the submission page. I cannot see, and of course I cannot edit, my entries. As far as I remember, I cannot see the description when voting is open as well. This means that all members, except me, can see it...

This site shows the photos and videos my wife Korrie made during her Scuba Diving stay at the Maldives Islands, November 2006. It's a Dutch language site, but as there is hardly any text, I guess you can find your way around.
The Maldives are located in the Indian Ocean, to the South of India, just above the equator. They are famous for their underwater sea life.
I bought a Fuji F30 for her, of course with an underwater housing :-), just before she left. The F30 got rave reviews everywhere, it's the best compact camera by large margins in it's price class. The video you see on this site was originally shot at 640 * 480, 30 fps with sound (yes, you can hear her talk underwater Dutch -a rare Dutch dialect- sometimes!), the photos are 6.3 megapixel originally. The home page shows a selection of all photos, presented as a Flash slideshow (you all know I always present it this way... :-)).
Korrie will love it if you sign the Dutch guestbook!
