Finally Spring! http://public.fotki.com/JoMill/art-in-bloom-2007/ Art In Bloom is an annual event at Boston's Museum of Fine Arts. 70 works of art, chosen by the curators and guides, are assigned to garden clubs around New England. The garden clubs then design a floral arrangement as an interpretation of the assigned object. There is then a week of guided tours which take you each of the art/floral pairs and explain the materials and flowers and thought which went into the garden clubs' interpretations of the various paintings, sculptures , furniture etc. A bit difficult to photograph in low light with a no-flash rule but.... here it is.
