Hi Roy, Thanks for the tour of the Blue Whale. I also enjoyed seeing it at the April 2008 show at the Hilton. Did not at that time appreciate the extent of work that went into the restoration. You mention that this vehicle isn't particularly rare or collectible, true enough I guess. Yet I rarely see 56 Ford (wagons especially) restored frame off like yours. Its the rare and collectible cars that seem to get most of the attention and effort. For myself, give me the the ordinary middle class working car...like we had, like the neighbors had. The cars we rode around in. A '58 Cadillac Eldorado will draw a crowd all day long, anywhere. But I tend to relate to a Blue Whale... Dan
