With respect to the manner how Pmodwrks' locates his pictures he offers

    example 1: March-Porsche gallery:
Majority of presented pictures come from:
    http://8w.forix.com/march90p.html

example 2: March-Alfa Romeo Indycar gallery
There are a lot of Alfacorse PR dept pictures offered which can be found elswhere on the web as well. But some of the presented pictures came from
    http://8w.forix.com/march90ca.html

Pmodwrks, you could at least have asked for permission and/or mentioned the source where they came from.
    Nothing wrong with doing so..
Because now you are abusing copyrights of pictures that I took and are my property because you never bothered to ask me or the owner of the website where they are posted for permission.

      Mr Greuter,
Locating these photos and and any others was done using Google , and Google images. I have never used any of the photos to sell or offer them for any sort of profit. In most cases the photos dont show the name of the photographer or any copyright, I am a simple model car builder, who because I am disabled has the time to do research on vehicles that I may want to build a model replica of. If I have offended you in any way I sincerely apologize and if you would like me to remove the photos from my Fotki albums I will do so. I have encountered a few situations where I found photos, second and even third hand that were posted on sites not connected with he original. Again I apologize to you and the website owners as there was no mal-intent involved only the personal use of the photos to build model cars. Thank You Pmodwrks

Have tried to email you privately but messages seems not to be send off.

Have had discussion with my publisher, we are convinced of no harms intended by you. Apologies not necessary anymore, I believe you.
As for the pictures I made myself as well as scans of PR material, no objections to use them, that's OK for us as from now on. There were however some pictures included that were made available to us for use on the mentioned websites only, not for further unauthorized use. This includes pictures provided by the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Photo dept. Right now I can't access your maps anymore so I can't point out which photos better can be removed to avoid problems for either yourself and/or us.
Can you please make the maps available again so I can tell you which ones I recommand you to remove them? There are some 10 or so `hot pictures`, The vast majority of them can be retained.

Again, I repeat I have no longer any problems anymore about the use of the pictures that I made myself.
That is OK as from now on for me

Henri, because I am not really very computer literate, I removed those complete albums from public view. I do very much appreciate the approval of both the publisher and yourself to continue to display the photos. I have had only one other problem with a photographer asking me to remove some pics, strangely enough those also came from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway site and in fact had the Indycar logo in plain view. Although I did remove the entire album for him I suggested the problem may have been with IMS either not blocking them or the fact that his credits had been removed  by them.. I will post the albums again so you can tell me which specific photos need to be removed. Again Thank You very much for your approval, you have no idea how much fellow model need this type of useful info to build accurate replicas of these historic race cars. Chris

            Hi Chris,

Don't forget to post puctures of  a 90CA or 90P if you ever built one! Very eager to see one of those as a better model then the 1:43 Onyx toy cars.

Regarding IMS Photos, They have their reasons to be difficult with re-use of photos. Sometimes they do charge people for using their pictures and of course it isn't fun to find out that when you paid for using a picture supplied by them, then someone else who located it abuses it without refinding either the first customer or IMS being denied the possibility to make some income another time with that picture. It makes sence.
But be cooperative and you won't have problems with them and I can only say that in doing so, they have been more then helpful to me

Within the March-Porsche map I urge you to remove the picture of the white car 4 named 90P-test-Ludvigsen. That is the only picture I have used within my piece that I rate as `hot` Scans of Porsche PR pics  and Promocards, I see nothing wrong with that.
There are a few other pictures of which I wonder where they come from and I certainly like the 1990MidOhio picture. If I ever could find out who made that one, I would love to include it in my story on the 90P.

Within the March-Alfa Romeo 89CE map on page one the picture named 89ce-3
Regret to say that on page 2 you need to remove all pictures with exception of the ones numbered 25, 26, 38 and 39. All the others in between were supplied to me by other people.
By the way, the number 38 picture is of the 1990 March 90CA so you might consider relocating that one.

Within the March 90CA map, on page 1 the following pictures were not made by me but supplied to me by others: the numbers 9, 10, 11, 12,
the nrs 19-24 came from a website ran by the company that offered this particular car for sale but I think we can get away with using those. I did the same.....

On page 2: pictures numbers 25, 29, 30, 41 are not made by me but send to me.

On page 3: picture number 64

Everything else within the 90CA map was made by me or comes from Press kits released by Alfa Romeo that year. Sometimes I wonder why I made so many pictures of a disastrous car like that.

But the listed pictures are the ones that can cause troubles for me too.
Thanks a lot for your cooperation and also for your interest in my work.
I want you to know  As far as I'm concerned, we are OK with another.

Additional comment on the Porche pictures, for one reason or another, the blue in the picture is way too dull and dark. The true blue color was much more brilliant, like the blue on the cans of Foster's beer. Should you build a 90P, buy a can Fosters for the reference of the actual blue.

Enjoy your hobby and you surely assist others in enjoying that hobby too.

            greetings,

I have to say "Thank You!" to you.  I have been looking over and using your pictures of the '78 Lotus MK III.  I am currently building the 1:12 Tamiya kit for someone else and trying to add as much detail as possible.  Your album has been VERY helpful, so thanks again!

Glad I could help! I started that same 1/12th Tamiya kit and was using some detail parts by Thunder Valley F1 as well as Studio 27 and more and spent about a month doing just the engine and transaxle then had to put it aside to do some more pressing builds, but I will get back to it soon and probably  do a work in progress on the Open Wheel Racing Modelers board. RB Motion has some great detail parts for this kit since I started mine Check it out!!!! Chris
Ps. Helping other modelers by providing detail photos is what I meant my Fotki to be for!!
