Have enjoyed visiting your albums very much. Not had time to see them all yet. I will return! Your Northumberland series was excellent, of course I knew all the places. Your Tall Ships photos were really good, considering the lousy weather we had when they were here! I have a series of photos I took in 1986 when they first visited. The Quayside has changed beyond recognition since then, but weather has'nt. It was raining then too! The photos were taken in the pre-digital age so they are not as good as yours. Also I can tell that you are a much better photographer than me! However, you may like to take a look. Once again, thanks for sharing your lovely photos.

I love your pics do you let people use them to make tags? If so would you mind if I used some of your pics to make tags with. A Yes or no answer in my Guest Book would work great!

Thank you,
Jennie

Loved the photos. We had a great old black and white photo of my grandmother's cottage in East Kilbride on the New Millhouse Rd which was lost in a fire. We have a few not so great photos of the cottages there now taken in 1991. Do you know where we can buy a photo of the site taken recently or where we might find an old postcard of that site? My grandmother lived there, raised my mom in Edinburgh until they came to America around 1930. I really like the town as it is today. Thanks, jean

Hi Cath
Just having another think about the pictures on my panel.I can't remember the exact name of the place where these anchors are. It was on the road from Achiltibuie to Polbain. The islands in the background are the Summer Isles.

Hi Cath
Thanks for your visit and the mass of comments, I have replied as appropriate..... I think you would enjoy Rome. Also thank you for the vote in the contest......I have had a look at your Seamill photos and left some comments, it was a fab day, and we were so lucky with the weather when some of the country was being battered with snow.....

Hi Cath
Thanks for calling in and leaving some nice comments. I was going to the Spinning Group at Lochinver and it was a beautiful day so I kept stopping to take some pictures. The photos for the panel were taken at Achilitibuie.
See more http://public.fotki.com/tarbet/archives/views_in_sutherland/2005/achiltibuie/

I was very surprised to get a third and thanks goes to Angela who helped me to choose the pictures.

You and your friends and family seem to have raised walking to an artform. In these days of high expense sport/hobby-equipment and clothing and travel, you with your two-legs-each have opened your eyes to the world "next-door" and have obviously found (and fortunately shared) ao much joy and beauty.)
I am moved by it all, and will sip a bit of JohnnyWalkerBlack in honor of you all.
