I just want to thank the Pikliz team for providing a venue for the Haitian community to express. This is a great thing you are doing and I support it 100%!

I am sure practically most people using this site have read all the comments. Stop commenting, you have already given this woman (Lud) too much attention. I laughed so hard at you girls for not understanding the game and falling into this trap. Read the innuendo in Josie's comment.

Let's enjoy this beautiful site. Peace and Harmony.

Francois, Manny and Frankie job well done.

Noemie, you have touched me deeply and many thanks for being my friend. I am standing firmly by my comments. I accept that I behaved unprofessionally and I was abhorring the thoughts of resentment, but I was completely telling the truth and you know it; the fact of the matter is, we are humans. After all, we were all like siamese sisters. Not to go into much details, I was still in Haiti in the early 80's, I left in June 1987, just 3 weeks after Nathaniel's birthday in May when he turned 10 years of age.

I am apologizing to you my friend, and to Frankie Morone for the gentleman he has demonstrated that he is. Francois, my intention was not to show you disrespect; please accept my sincere apology.

To: Frankie Morone,

I am apologizing for my friends and I applaud you for the way you responded to their comments. To you and the entire PIKLIZ staff continue this wonderful work that you have been doing.

Thank you.
Noemie Castra

P.S. I was having difficulties posting my comments under the picture.

Ladies

I am appalled by the comments posted about Ludy and you Ladies should be ashamed of yourselves. As professionals (Lawyer, Doctor, Teacher, Psycologist) you have spent 7 to 10 years in the best universities America has to offer. I have to scold you (Ladies) in public meaning PIKLIZ.

Really, Ms. Carlyne Turnier, with your background in Psychology, you hold a Doctorate of Professional Counseling, you are supposed to be a leader. Frankly, you are the last person to have posted such comment, as well as you know that Ludy is dramatic, emotional, unpredictable and does not know the traditional idea of morale existence. Yes, it is wrong, your behavior is socially unacceptable and I am disappointed in you. Again, who cares about Josie wrote about Ludy that she came from the 80's elite, the Consul's wife ??, a Writer, a Journalist, a Queen................. that's her prerogative.

As a friend Carlyne, evaluate and refrain yourself from falling into the gutter and use that vast education of yours into productive work. I know that you grew up with Ludmilla and knows her very well, but you have done wonders with your life and never pretended to be anything other than who you are and for that reason leave the past behind. Don't waist your precious time, she does not deserve that much attention you have already given to her. Remember you are only dealing with ......................................................................For the rest of ladies, when reading this message please do the same.

For myself, I am going to continue to enjoy the site.

Lastly, you need to apologize to Frankie, Francois and the entire PIKLIZ staff.

Noemie Castra

Hello:
First, a big thank you to All for sharing these pictures which brough back such wondeful memories. I was a student from 1959 (9eme?) through 1963 (6eme secondaire). So many names of classmate have been forgotten, I probably could not even recognize myself in a class photo. In reminiscing, I started wondering whether one of you might possess a picture of Prof Innocent class de 7eme (61-62). Although I had many wonderful teachers during my tenure at the Seminaire, Prof Innocent is the one that I most vividly recall (cannot positively states whether I was in section a, b or c). Anyway, thanks again to those who have taking the time to create this site and for sharing such memories. ( PS: some names that I remember: Jn Michel Vaval who's familly came to live accross the street from us in Petion Ville, Parnel Duverger??, ). In case one needs to contact me, please use the above posted e-mail address. Thank You and Best Regards.

Congratulations, to the team effort, for a website well put together. In addition to your website, I would like to suggest covering events that are taking place in our dear country, Haiti. Piklize can be the link between Haiti and the diaspora at large.

If I may add some constructive criticisim, I understand the need to highlight the promoters, however, it would be refreshing to see new faces, instead of featuring the same group of people over and over again.

It's very similar to the Laws of Nature, anything done to the extreme is any longer considered good. As a guest of Pikliz.com, I would like see a much bigger picture and new faces promoted as well.

Keep up the good work, it could only get better !

Good luck and God bless !

Les.

This is the first time, that I have the honor to visit this site. You guys are doing a great job. I was born in Haiti, my father is French and Spanish and my darling mother is Haitian. I have lived in different countries but I could never forget who I am and where I came from. My daughter is currently married to a wonderful HAITIAN husband. Last but not least, I am proud to be black and Haitian, everywhere I go, I let the world know that I am Haitian. I just came back from my country HAITI with my entire family and we had a great time.
Thank you PIKLIZ for this site.
