I just wanted to say wow. Your "About Me" message was really touching. I'm glad you stumbled on the idea of natural hair. It really is a liberating experience. I've been natural my whole life. OK maybe I should rephrase that. I've had one texturizer and one perm. Other than that I've dealt with my natural hair texture. However, I consistently straightened my hair until some time during my senior year of high school. I just got so sick of trying to make my hair do something that it didn't want to do. I wore wash and goes, ponytails, and cornrows for the next few years, but I never had to rely on someone else to style my hair and I never had to worry that it wouldn't look the way I wanted it to. I really enjoyed allowing my hair to be whatever it wanted to be. I would like to welcome you to the wonder land of natural hair. Feel free to ask any questions. There's always so much to learn and experience. I wish you the best.
