Hmm, If they have a budget for a photographer, maybe consider getting them to hire me and you can be my backup photographer/ assistant and ill teach you a bit more :)
Opsy, I just realized my last message didn't make much sense asking you if you were related to a Nathan Walker lol. I meant to ask if you know a Chris Walker.
Thanks, glad you like my photos :) If you do manage to get in let me know, maybe I'll try it with ya next time, I'd love to do a psych shoot, with a brave model or two though.
Are your friends paying you for the wedding photos? If not just let them know your new and you usually get what you pay for :p hehe
I wouldn't shoot a wedding until you really know what your're doing. I assisted shooting weddings for a little while first. Its a big day and you kind of have to be always on, always ready, running around etc. It helps if your loud and outgoing too (which I'm not) , for group posing and stuff.
Its going to be tough shooting in natural light in darker places like indoors / at the church, if you dont have a really fast lens like f 2.8 and or dont mind shooting at higher iso's... You can use flash but usually it doesn't look too great using direct flash, bounce flash looks better but you need a low white cieling to bounce it off of (and it uses allot of battery power for your flash, and you can only do it with a decent aim-able external flash, like nikon Sb600 or 800 etc. )
Ugly flash picture is better than a blury (too slow shuterspeed) or out of focus photo though, keep that in mind :)
Anything specific you think you'd need help with ?
Ben

Are you related to a Nathan with the same last name?
Did you ever get into that Hamilton Psych. Hospital? is it abandoned or still in use?
