    Hallo napomo,

I agree with you for 100% , you just missed my sarcasm ;) ....  read all my comments on the comment page of this contest or some of my comments in other contests or my recent "display of bad character" on the latest Fotki journal where I stated that people for some reason are not able or not willing to read. Gives me the pimples and I consider it to be rude to "lalala" through the contests and blogs and destroy other peoples efforts to make a chance in a contest by thoroughly roaming through their 3 gazillion pics to find those who fit the title and then spending half of the night by editing a photo with much thoughts and love.

Happened several times that I didn't submit because I sticked to the rules and the title just to find out that others couldn't care less.

I suggested to Fotki to not call this event contest but showcase for all of those who just want to show their time stamped or signed pics in a so called anonymous contest and start less but real contests that deserve the name.

It's waste of time, energy and resources to open page after page just to find stuff I didn't came for but when people express their anger and frustration about it they are the jerk and they are made out as rude, jerks or having a bad character. I am so far that I couldn't care less and I wish that more people would speak right from their heart ..... sometimes sarcasm is all that is left and it's less rude than that what causes it. I am not at Fotki to walk on egg shells or to make the "american niceness standard" my standard; I am here to share pics, communicate and have fun and I will continue to "don't like" pics that don't belong into a contest or give them a 1 out of 10. And when Fotki doesn't allow me to hit the "I don't like both" button again and again  I clear my cache, my cookies, reload the browser and tell them that I don't like both.

Thanks for your message, Adriaan, I like it that you speak out and you made me realize that my sarcasm  obviously can not be understood  by people who  "don't know be by know" , or are new to Fotki or don't follow much or for a long time the contests and forums on Fotki .... sure have to change that ... not really sure right now how without be too "rude" ;)

      thx again :)

HI napomo's .I read your comment in this weeks contest. Dingos are no more dangerous than any other dog fact. Aboriginals had dingos as  companions for thousands of years,They hunted with them, slept with them on chilly nigh I believe the word dingo  in native language means tame. Tourists feeding dingos  caused problems as instead of teaching their pups to hunt, they taught them to get hand outs of humans. There are  now heavy penalties for feeding wild dingos.$3000.00 fined. You can have a dingo as a pet some states require a permit.Hope you find this of some interest. Cheers Teza.

Thank you very much for your , perhaps, too generous comment on my entry in July portrait contest. Unfortunately, my contest page has been blocked for nearly 3 weeks , as a result I couldn't access  both  the comments and the others'
entries. Wish inspiration visit you regularly and a lot of great shots!
