Hi, My name is Susan Odle. My husband's name is Thomas Odle. His line is VernonOdle-Charles Clarence Odle-Isaac Nelson Odle. I have been doing alittle research on the Odle Tree and came across your's. We live in Litchfield, Illinois. I see that your line of Jeremiah Odle is connected somehow with Isaac Nelson Odle. I was wondering if there was anyway I can connect to your family tree from mine on Ancestry .com. I dont know how exactly. I see you must have been researching the Odle's for years. If you can please get back to me, i would really appreciate it. My email is mailto:mailto:sueodle5@consolidated.net . I will look forward to hearing from you, Thank You, Susan Odle.
Hi, My name is Judy Black and Sidney Johnson is my great grandfather. We have been trying to track him for the past 3 days and finally had a breakthrough. He was married to Sarah Elizabeth (Henderson) Durbin in 1884 and they had 4 children. My grandmother was the oldest and she and her husband had 13 kids. We have a really big family and I am so glad to find the link to his family history. Apparently he was born to David Johnson and Rebecca O'Dell in 1850 and I find no other history of them after the 1850 census. My mom told me that he was raised by his aunt Maggie. I found Sidney on the 1860 census as living with William and Margaret (O'Dell) Bohanan. Ties a lot of history together for us. I am glad to finally get this information. I am still trying to find out more about Sidney. My Uncle Bobby (the last surviving child of Sidney's daughter says that he has a picture of Sidney with his US Marshall's badge. I am going to visit him in the next week and get a copy of the picture. Hope I can add more to your site.
My grandfather was Earl Harland Ledbetter and I have 10 first cousins locally from Earls four children. Anyone needing info/comments feel free to connect.
Newton Ross Singleton would have been my great grandfather... I am trying to find further information on his father Samuel L Singleton but I've hit a roadblock. Either Samuel or his father married a Margareta Robinson - trying to find information on her and where she's from.
Alvin G. Beaty was my grandfather. He married Olive Pelham when he returned after serving in France during WW I, with the US Marine Corps. The three daughters were Margie, Mildred and Betty. Mildred's father died during the flu pandemic of 1918. Olive passed away in Fullerton, CA, in about 1927. Alvin remarried, and later moved to Taft, CA.
