I was just browsing through albums and I came across yours and I just wanted to say CONGRATS! I started over in May and I can't believe how quickly the time has passed. Starting over helps you have a great understanding of the stages of your hair and makes you develop a greater appreciation for it. Be encouraged and Happy Holidaze ~_~!!

I have updates, stop by when you can!

Oh my goodness you and I are kinda in the same boat. I didn't cut off all my hair though like you did. But I had to get a significant amount of hair cut off because ends were so damaged. I'm so mad at myself because my hair was the healthiest and longest it has ever been literally about 6 months ago. But with school and stress from it, I have not been taking care of my hair at all. I've also learned my lesson. I've been tempted to relax my hair but I just feel that I want the option of afro or pressed hair and not being stuck with just straight all the time. You are my inspiration! We can do this! I'm going to transition with braids till I graduate from school, haha! School is just too crazy for me to focus on my hair like I need to. Looking at your album gives me hope and encouragement. Thanks.

Thanks!!! You're really brave... I thought about cutting my hair all off again those times when I was very frustrated. But I dont think I have the guts!! Lol

I'm just trying to figure out how to maintain my twists, because they get so frizzy in about four days... and they dont last... :-( I dont want to have to do them over every week. Thats too much. And I wear a scarf but it never fails to fall off. And bonnets dont help much either

Gurl you can do it! I didn't think I could do it either, but chile, I said oh well, if I don't like it I could wig it for 6 months until it grows back.

I noticed that when I put bonnets on my twists, it made it fuzzier quicker. So instead of using bonnets and satin scarves at night, I just used a satin pillow and sheets....made my styles last a whole lot longer! Take care and love ya hair in the avi!

Girl I feel you on the crunchy hair! I'm in an all out war to keep it moisturized and protected so my poor ends will stop splitting. I feel like I'm starting to trim waaaayyyy to often!! I've been rocking all protective styles for the last 3-4 weeks and I mositurize like a mad woman!

Girl at least you didn't put a DAWG ON PERM in your head for NO REASON!! I am starting over too! I haven't been on in a while but I am back again, starting over, again, for the fourth time!! I still love the process though!! I feel a little better seeing that we will be starting together though!! Much love!! Happy Growing...AGAIN!!

After reading "Rebirth" I wanted to cry, hug you, shout "hallelujah" What a inspiration you are for me and a TRUE HAIR TWIN. I already knew I could never keep up with the other nappies with products, oils, tricks and tips. I have come to realize a long time ago that my napps are who they are and will do what they want to do regardless of how I want them to behave. Your sentiments truly touched me sis.
