    Hey lady!

School is kicking my butt so barely even have time to comb my hair. As soon as I have some up dates I will give you a shout out.

I only had the Lasio One Day BKT once, but from that initial BKT I can tell you that the Lasio once day formula was very thin and did not leave my hair with any weight. I did not feel like my hair was coated at all with the Lasio One Day formula....which I wanted. I had the Rejuvenol done about 2 weeks later and it was much thicker. The Lasio One Day formula was like water, pink water, being sprayed onto my hair. With Rejuvenol I felt that my hair was coated & protected. I have had Rejuvenol a few times now and I really like it better than Lasio's one day despite having to leave the treatment in for 4 days to cure.

Hey there! Thanks for stopping by my guest book. I decided not to use BKT yet b/c of some medicines that I am taking. I don't want there to be any adverse affects. I see that you've added Fabulosity01 she is like the BKT guru! I'm sure that she'll be more than happy to help you on your journey! HTH!

Hi there, Morgan! I sure do have some pre bkt pics. In my first BKT album I have one and then I have a comparison one of the change in my curls in the 3rd BKT album. I just ran across another one, also, that I'm happy to add to the first folder. I'll just throw it on the end.

You know, I really wish I had a pic of my hair before my BKT but after my sour cream and lemon treatment. That treatment loosened my shrinkage by 50%. I had heard that the sour cream and lemons treatment was temporary but my hair never returned to normal. I was perfectly fine with that, however.

Here's the link to the posted pic: http://public.fotki.com/sheba1/brazilian-keratin-t/inthebeginning.html

    Hiya,

    The BKT is smelly :-)

I loved the feeling of my hair the softness and the curls.

On the downside it doesn't last long, you have to use heat and straighten your hair. And you can't bend you hair in anyway for at least three days.

Personally I would do it again.

    Good luck

    Hi Morgan!

Thank you for visiting my fotki and leaving me messages. It's always good to meet others with similar hair type - thanks again for shouting me out.

I use OK Keratin brazilian treatment and I will experiment with other treatments to see which one gives the best result. Global seems to be very good too as well as softliss. So far, i have done the treatment 2X - 2 weeks apart. the first time was awwright but the 2nd time was really the da bomb. My hair was SO dry after the first treatment; the 2nd time, it was so much more moisturized. Give the treatment a try and see how well it works for you. Just ensure that you minimize any fume intake. If you have anymore questions, I am here to answer all. Take care.

    Hi, I got your questions.
Those were the only kinky twists I've ever done. So no I haven't found hair that I like yet.
I have heard good things about Marley Braid brand. That is what I will try next time.
For parting, I just use a long rattail comb and part across one row at a time. I really only check in the mirror to make sure the part is staight for sections that I know I may want to wear styled.
Other than that, once I've made the row. I secure loose hair with a scrunchie and a clip and I finger part the sections for each twist.
I have a twist tutorial here but it doesn't address partings.

Good luck with your twists I hope they are nice. Let me know if you need any other questions answered.

Sounds great. I wish you the best with your modified c&g technique. It sounds like you will reap great benefits from it. Let's get our grow on!

Yay another crochet braids wearer! All the C&G Method is is wearing braids (or twists), as a protective style to help with length retention, for about 2 months at a time, then take a break, braid again, and the cycle continues. So, to me, it just means spending most of your time in braids. There's no real guidelines besides washing your hair weekly and moisturizing daily. You can find tips and techniques here: http://growafrohairlong.com

SHUT YO MOUTH! I didn't even think to put the two together. Cat litter(the natural cat litter) is pure bentonite clay! And you're right, I can get a bag which would last a couple of years for less than what one jar cost! Thanks!
