I'm looking for the kit numbers of the heavy wheels construction series plastic kits by lindberg back in the 1975 to 1980's era. There were three different kits they were yellow on the boxes/model box art. the kits were snap kits in 1/40 to1/80 scale. the kits were a dump truck. a loader, and a scraper. the kit numbers will be deeply appreciated if you can find them for me. thanks.
Good morning! I am writing to you all to say thank you for a wonderful site. My request for instructions for AMT American LaFrance Ladder Chief have been filled. I now have them. I thank you all for your help in locating them. I wish to compliment everyone on your fine modeling skills. You all are true craftsmen in your hobby. I cannot compare to your skills as I am just a retired truckdriver with 45 years and 3 million miles behind me and a novice builder who occupies his time by looking at your fine work online. I appreciate being able to browse your site and look at all the information available and seeing the fine work you all do. Everyone have a great day, be safe and thank you again for your efforts. Hi good pictures of the Wim Vos fleet from OSS as a driver for them in the 80s I don't know where you get the connection between Wim Vos and the orange trucks of Harry Vos, we were always told there was and is no connection I have been in the industry with this outfit under the banner of nedlloyd road cargo who vos sold out to who then became Danzas then and now are part of Derijke intermodal of moerdijk
I find there isnt alot out there on Dodge Heavy trucks. This to me is sad. Im too young to of had the privalage to drive them up and down the highway but my dad did and he realy liked the conventionals. I did how ever use Dodge LVT 1000 slab cab(cabover with no bunk) It was very briefly, I was 14 yrs old pulling gravity bin wagons behind it. That was the teaser I guess. It ended shortly when the throttle started sticking. Oh well.It had a inline 671 and a 13spd.I remember it was a tag axle.ie It looked like a tandem but the rear axle would lift and it had no brakes on that axle
I like the Cat 3406 motors, do you still have any for sale? Also, what else do you have available? Thanks AB Sorry, but nothing is for sale on this site. We just list and show all that is out there on Trucks and Modeltrucks. The DMTC Team
Hello, My name is Trevor. I was a driver for Wim Vos for about 3 years from 1990. t is good to see pictures of the Road Barrels (Tankers) and Tank Containers which I used to drive. Many memories here. Great Site and good photos. It all happened in OSS.
I am also a big truck fan. You have a lot of brochures I have never seen. Thanks for posting them. I also have a pretty extensive brochure collection from the mid 70's to mid 80's. I also subscribed to Overdrive Magazine in the early 80's which I still have. I used to build a lot of models but I do not have them any more. I think my dad threw most of them away after I let home and he turned my bedroom into a den.
Thanks for posting the ERTL BluePrinter newsletters. do you know all of the volume and issue numbers from the 70's ? I have 2 from 1975 that are not listed, March 1975 volume 3 issue 1, and August 1975 volume 3 issue 2. Thanks again
Hallo Modellbauer, habe einen Volvo N-10 Maßstab 1:25 Sonderedition mit Metallteilen für 49,- EURO verkauft. Frage nun an Euch, habe ich was falsch gemacht oder war der Preis ok. LG Erwin
