Very nice windsurfing album Merlin. I enjoyed it. Despite the watery reflections, I think it worked out rather well. Kinda makes me want to try it.....photographing others doing it, I mean. I'm getting too old for that kind of physical abuse. lol Mike ================================================I Google-mapped Adelaide just to get the lay-of-the-land; see what your world looks like. I noticed in the housing areas around the city proper just about every home has a fence of some kind around it. Those are to keep the Dingoes out, right? lol
The Australian norm is to fence your home and block of land & I have noted lack of fences in the USA. They aren't there to keep out the dingoes the dingo fence does that (about 800km to the north and over 5000km long spanning 3 states). Fences can slow down the movement of snakes and lizards a bit (true but not the reason).
Its about 8 years since my last foray onto the waters - if I dont get back into it soon I may have missed my chance.

Hello Merlin .thank you very much for you visit a few days ago and for you comments ( i have reply them) Sorry for the "late" back visit to you site but sometimes is time to short to do all i wanted to do....I just had a look in some of you albums. You photography work contains a very interesting "palet" of topics and beautiful photos .Wish you and yours a nice week Regards Vince.
Hi Merlin, I checked in today and saw you had some bird photos. Fabulous album!!Wonderfully captured, Hope your summer is not to hot, nor dry, hugs;Kelly:)))
Thanks for the comments on my rugby albums. I became the club photographer for Toledo, Ohio after I decided to hang up the boots. I enjoyed your Australian Rules Football photos. I've seen one or two matches on TV, but it rarely gets scheduled in our TV programming. Rubgy is starting to get a little more air time, but nothing like American football.
Yes the reply worked ok, but nice to get a guest book message too. I've not seen much Aussie rules football but I know it's a physical sport to say the very least.
Thanks for the comments. Re your question about the horse jumpping picture: I took it a couple of years ago so can't exactly remember what I did to it. I know I cropped it so that the horse and rider filled the frame but whether I tweaked the contrast or not I don't know - probably a wee bit. Anyway, glad you liked it, and the other one as well. If you don't mind I'll add you as a friend so you can access some more of our pictures. I don't keep much on the public side as I get tired of all the folk who visit but never leave a message and usually have no photographs of their own either, (and usually no avatar - and probably no camera!!). Thanks again. Regards, Paul
Happy New Year to you too dear friend...Sorry that I haven't been around much here in Fotki, I thought I would have some free time this winter but it's been a very busy time instead. Thank you so much for your lovely Xmas card and for thinking of me. Hugs, Laura
