Thank you for nice words. We were schocked in Italy as well for the events in Beslan. Everybody followed them on TV until their tragic end. A lot of people lighted a candle at the window on Saturday night to commemorate all those deaths. You probably know that now two Italian girls who worked for a humanitarian association in Baghdad were snatched by terrorists and now a lot of demonstrations are held to ask for their liberation.
Apart from these bad news: we looked for the pics in St. Petersbug, a wonderful town of literary charm.... It reminds me (Cynthia) Dostoevkij's novels. We would like to visit it, we hope for better times.
