    Hey Ms. Chicoro! no questions this week, but I do have a quick update! So Saturday was my bday and I wanted to start it out with clean hair. I'd been rocking a braid out for almost a week and my hair needed to be washed. So I decided I'd try your bantu knots and detangling methods. It only took about 2 hrs to wash, detangle, and deep condition, I felt like there was less broken hairs, and overall I was pretty happy! Thanks! Thanks! Thanks! I just love that I'm always learning because you haven't given up the quest for knowledge! I really appreciate you, sis!

    Happy Belated birthday, Liz! Those things aren't guaranteed. You've earned another one. I am glad the wash session resulted in better results for you! Let me know if you have any specific questions. Contrary to what you think, I enjoy getting questions. I may not always know the answer, but that's okay, too!

    2. Since pH only tests solutions, how do I know the pH of my shampoo bar (which is all natural, no preservatives or chemicals)? or does it even matter
    ------------
    You can remove a piece of soap, dissolve it in hot water and then dip in your ph strip in the solution. It should be rather alkaline. I can't say that it does or not matter. I think it depends upon your reason for testing it, what your specific hair situation is and what your goals are. If you have an issue with your scalp, it might make a difference. It really depends on many factors.

    1. How do you feel about washing hair in styles? like if I have box braids&want to keep them in, should I tale them down & wash or can I wash with the braids in?
    ------
    I wash my hair in braids. It really is a personal choice. I do this because it helps me to keep tangles to a minimum. Try both ways and make an assessment. That really is the only way to determine what works best for you.

    Hi Liz,
    How are you doing? I hope things are going well for you. Thank you for the constant support. I appreciate it.
    I looked for the Kimmaytube video but I couldn't find it. Could you provide the link to me, please? Thanks!

    Nope...I don't plan to wash or co wash these microtwists at all, until the week that I take them out. I want to wear these for 6 weeks and I just know that if I saturate them that they will go all wrong.

    Plus you know how cold it is here in NJ. No washing/no wet scalp for 6 weeks is fine with me. I just use my Bee Mine Luscious & Juicy moisturizers and the bee loved oil. And my hair is doing just fine.

    These are the smallest twists I've ever done. When I've done bigger ones (& frequently cowashed) my hair gets tangely (not a word) and starts to show some signs of locing but I never really let it get to the point where it becomes matted or loc'd.

    your hair is so incredibly beautiful! What is your routine, I didn't see it in the album where it's listed and I didn't see a youtube video about it. Do you wash every week or every other? and what do u use on ur ends to combat dryness?
    ==============

    Thank you! I don't have a steady regimen. I have my favorite products in an album in my fotki. I wash weekly. I have many different leave-ins that I can choose from. Right now I'm using Oyin Honey Hemp Conditioner as a leave-in.

    Good Morning,

    Unfortunately, I was laid off on Friday (not enough business... blah, blah). It's good to know that you're a law clerk; you are in constant contact with attorneys and will find a job eventually. When I was a law clerk, I found a job in the last month of my clerkship. You probably know more attorneys in Northern NJ than I do. Most of my contacts are in Ocean County and various parts of New York. Sorry I could not provide much help.

    Good luck!
