Hello Scott, I have no idea who you are, but you have pictures on this site of my relatives' graves. E.A.and Florence Dingler Bates were my grandparents. I am one of four daughters of Elvin Wade and Laura Roberta Haley Bates. I noticed my great-grandparents grave Thad and Julia Bates. Marion Bates was an uncle, a son of E.A. and Florence. The grave of Helen Bates is another uncle's wife. Alvin is still living as are my parents Elvin and Roberta. They are 92 and 90. It was interesting looking at your pictures. I have visited that cemetery many times. Thank you.
Scott, love the pics. I was hoping to go to the reunion this year, may not work out. I've only recently learned of my family history. Love to know more.
I am a descendant of Samuel's and thank you for posting all the pics of the Eells-Stowe house! I have always wanted to go, but just haven't made it yet. Hope I do soon! ~Tamara Eells Tyler
I LOVE the pictures of Collen & Shaggy. I don't know, I might have to call animal control, because they look pretty abused to me (with tummy rubs and all). :0) Shaggy looks like he has as quite the personality (as does Collen). What sweethearts!!! I really hope (& beg) that the next time you are driving through Peoria or come to a meeting that you bring the two of them into the office so that I/we can personally dote over the two of them. I'll even make sure I have a special treat waiting.
Thanks again for sharing! It looks like Shaggy is the perfect addition to your family. Remember, I will be willing to doggy-sit anytime!!
Hope to see you both (& maybe the puppies) August 9th at the BUAA Retreat at Garrett Williams' house in Bloomington.
