Hi Kev: I'm back - the surgery was done on Tuesday - 2 1/2 hrs - another 2 hours in recovery and I went home to recuperate. It's going to take some time for my eye muscles to heal and adjust (according to the dr). The muscles were stitched so the eyes see things on a new straight line now. Kinda hard to describe but my eyes saw on two different levels before and only the prism in the lenses had them focus together. The sockets are still very much sore and the whites are still red...time he tells me...time...and me being me, I want results almost immedately. So how are you feeling. I read you were going back to work. Thats good. No left over headaches or anything??? I'll be checking back in here - so write me and say hello. Tell me how your doing. Hugs as always Susi

Hi Kevin, Just read about your having a bike accident. It is good to see you are recovering and about to return to work. Keep on that high road to full recovery.

Gees Kevin: You travel all over the planet and it takes a bicycle ride at home to knock you out of commission - I do hope you are recovering and trying to stay put. I think you must be one lucky Bronx kid if you went up against a car vs. bike...
Stay put, get your rest and stay off the bike for a bit....
Hi Kevin...thanks for the comment/compliment. Costa Rica, eh? Always wanted to go there...beautiful place I hear and enlightened, at least as that which concerns conservation of natural resources. I hear they have fully 35% of their country protected from exploitation. We should have such foresight.
Hi Kev: The countdown has begun - you've got just a matter of a few days left and off you go for a great time in CostaRica. I envy you but I will say we will miss you next week - Gary is coming in with Peter Molenar and we're going to do a few fun things.
