Hey Bro! Bob B. sent me to your site to do some research on low slingin' a 32 5 window front suspension. Man have you got some awesome ideas and great builds also. Hope you don't mind if I kinda borrow from your ideas. Keep up the good work. Take care and stay Cool! They call me GREEZER when they ain't mad at me!!
Wow Rod, Thanks for the link to Mr. Cranky's albums. They look awsome. I will spend some time there. That is one of the reasons I am on Fotki, The opportunity to meet folks like you and others who share their work and photos that serve to inspire us all.
Hello, Thank you for your quick response. I thought you made some of your wishbones and they look great. (saw some plastic dust in one of the photos. (LOL) I have lots of the Revell 29 axels, just looks like you get a better drop than me, Especially on the one I commented on. Looks like I will be working on some frame construction too. I love both your attention to detail and crisp clear photos. I have added you as a friend and look forward to seeing more of your work. BobB
Very creative models. These are the type of rods I always look out for.And thanks for adding me to your friend's list.I'm honored. Now I'm inspired to build up more model cars like yours.
Fantastic models. I just spent hours checking out all the details. Thanks for the inspiration maybe I'll build my version of "The Purple People Eater" An Old Rat Fink friend, Chip
I gather you did not make it into Sarasota today. I do look forward to drinking a brew or two with you, and talking models and cars.Keep me informed when you can make it. On another note, Farbeyonddriven is friend of mine and we both belong to the same model club that is here in the Tampa bay area called MAGS. He build some killer customs and hot rods also. Take care.
To share a beer with a modeling friend sounds cool to me. Glad you like my new work area. Better then the eight years I spent building on the sofa and coffee table, and spraying on the lania.
Thanks for the comment on my '32 Highboy, it was a pain for me to assemble, but it came out great. And thanks for trying to identify the rims, but they were an after-market set I picked up years ago, and I've forgotten who made them. My '70 Boss 429 has a set of Vectors from the same company, and no one can ID them either. Sooner or later someone will know which company produced them, then I'll find that they're out of production!
