My father, Don Roemeling was in the Headquarters Company of the 60th Infantry Regiment and served in the landings in North Africa at Port Lyautey, thru the North African campaign (under Col. De Rohan (sp)), Sicily, Normandy, Cherbourg, the Huertgen Forest, and on to the end of the war. He passed away a few years ago, and I am working to gather information on his service. Can you help?
