Hey girl,...It's been awhile! How ya been? Hope all is good. As for me, this month I decided to just give it a whirl without the wigs and so far so good. I think that doing braidouts/twistouts are helpful at this point. However, I'm contemplating going on hiatus for the next three months then updating. But anyway, it's good hearing from you. Glad you stopped by. Take care & HHG! ~Jet~
I just wanted to say I love your pics and I was wondering if you go some where to get your hair done and if so were. I need to find a place I am located in new port richey fl but I am willing to travel to tampa
Hey jamtspice, just want to say that your pics are lovely! can't wait to see more updates of the results after the braids. please don't forget me! ;o( remind me of your updates. also, want to thank you for stopping by, and for the nice comments. they were greatly appreciated. :o) you had asked me about the clear gel, I have tried the clear gels and they're ok, I like them because if any should get on clothes, you're ok as opposed to the brown gel. now, I use the brown gel simply because I find that it holds my hair better. :o) again, thanks for stopping by. thanks for the add on. take care, & talk to you later. HHG! :o)
My daughters scalp is oily, her hair texture is medium-course with very high volume. You can see her album at www.fotki.com/dheonsmith Her hair does not like water or anything natural. My other daughter has a dry scalp, her hair texture is fine with very little volume. Her album is at www.fotki.com/jamieholley
Thank you for visiting my album. I love the tea. I just brew a couple of tea bags and put it in a big jug of water and rinse my hair over the sink or tub. Then I oil it and pat it dry. Some people can do this everyday and some people can't. It depends on your hair type. My hair LOVES water. My daughters hair does NOT like water so I can only do her hair every couple of weeks.
Thanks for stopping by. Tell BlackOnyx "Hello", I love her youtube vlogs. You asked about the cold water rinse. Here is a post that I've read that might help http://www.mynhcg.com/the-wash-and-go.html. You want to rinse with cold water to close the cuticle of the hair to protect the cortex, and I think it brings out a more defined curl. Try and let me know what you think.
I've been away too long! I'll be adding new pictures over the next few days! BTW: I started my locs again....for the 3rd time. Third times a charm! lol
Take care & HHG!
