I was wondering how we download photos from here? Is there a screen saver program you offer like WS to download all of the photos in and watch them on the screen??

Fotki.com supports both uploading and downloading photos via FTP.

To connect to fotki.com, use the following host name: ftp.fotki.com. Your UserName and password are the same you use when logging into your Fotki account. Once you login via FTP client, you will see folders which mimic the folder structure of your "Photo Albums" page.

Oh yes, you are right about the cats. They really ARE special. I adore animals & have plenty of them - all mine. Two black dogs-boys & two cats black & white - boys too. Can you explain to me what will happen after a trial period - I see that is mentioned at many members' guestbooks. What is that about? Are we going to be deleted or what?

I can't believe the personal attention we from Webshots are getting, and with such gratitude I write you. Thank you Iggy. I'm up and running. i can see again! A couple of questions? How come some thumbnails in the same album I posted open large and some small - when I uploaded them all at 1600x1200 approx. pixels and have 800x800 checked in my account.?? Also, how does one get off the EXIF Image details from displaying? And Last, how do I subscribe to sell my photos? Sorry to bother you with so many questions. Thanks so much for the extension. It is very cool of Fotki to offer the extension for us newbies. as far as NYC in the summer...only part of July and August are bad...you should try it here in Texas...summer starts in April and goes through October...I lived right across from Columbus circle off of Central Park West for my first 3 yrs there..I love Central Park..practically lived there...I wish I could find all of my old photos of the park and put them on here...oh well...anyway, thanks again sooooo much Iggy...you are the bomb..as my kids would say..:-)

update: it is spreading...":) it is on several accounts the same troubles right now. Yours is OK though so it has nothing to do with my PC or anything.

Hi Iggy, Today, when I click on my albums, then the thumbnail #1 to begin viewing, they don't open up larger. Only the info about the photo is there. Nothing is viewable. What is going on for me?
I can't get a URL, 'cause it's happening for all my albums, and they are posted at high res, 1500x1000 px, and I have 800x800 checked in my account set up. Not sure what I should or shouldn't do. Please respond ASAP so I can work on my stuff. Thanks so much for helping me. Linda
