Hi Iggy, Thank you for your nice welcome. I'm sorry to have taken so much time to answer your message, in fact, i've just read it. I have some difficulties with fotki, but this is due to my old computer system and configuration (an old Mac). That's why I'm not as active as I would have liked to. Anyhow, I will upgrade all this asap. Thanks again!
Thank you “Iggy” I appreciate your nice comment about the Sea Lion Album…I am so busy right now organizing and working on the “Fisherman’s Wharf Album_3” and “By the Wharf_3”… please stop by when you have time. Best wishes. Ayyad

Yes Iggy, all is well! As a matter of fact, I am loving how my photography displays here at Fotki. And the more I'm here, the more I like it. I'm still looking around to make sure this will be "home" for me, but I just left a message at my WEBSHOT page to inform everyone I am leaving and am here for now. Thank you for caring and helping me. Everyone over here from Webshots is settling in, it seems. I sure have. Linda (Oregon)
My last question referred to allowing downloads of my pictures with a reduced resolution if I do not want to share my originals. Let's say I upload a 2400x1800 picture and would like to allow downloads of 1024x768 only. Will it be possible?
Ig - whenever the gray matter clears (you may require one of those beers you enjoy :) I would enjoy the Socrates..
...but until then, know that we are in COMPLETE agreement...ALL human life IS precious

Hi Iggy, just an update. My website is working great now! I click on photos and they upload quick and beautifully. That was so frustrating when I couldn't view anything, and now it's AWESOME! So, whatever was done, it worked. Also, thanks for considering my suggestion about the "friends by invite" only. Whatever you decide, I'm fine with. I look forward to see what is decided. Thanks again. Linda (Oregon)
I have a technical question that I left at Talla's guestbook but she probably missed:
I configured my account to display photos in a resolution of 750x750; all images I upload so far are 1600x1200. However, a guest friend tried to download one of my pictures and the resulting picture is only 500x375. Is there a way to allow downloads with higher resolution, without allowing guests to download the original?
Even if that's not possible, I expected the guest to be able to download something like 750x562 or allow higher resolutions that are lower than the original (say 1024x768). How did the resolution of that image drop to 500x375 in spite of my settings?
Hello Iggy! Thank you so much for your warm welcome to the new Fotkin! A new world which certainly takes me quite a while to explore around, and especially making friends with all the native people! HeeHee!! Thank you again! Warm greetings from CS :):):)

Me again. Now I can't view my albums - sometimes the thumbnail opens, and mostly it doesn't. Same with other albums. I'll wait patiently to hear from you. Just want you to know all is NOT well. I also took off photo frame 6 and put NONE to see if that changed things. Thanks Iggy. Linda
>> Please Linda, send us a link to the albums, where you can't view the pictures. That will greatly help us to resolve this issue.
