Some excellent pictures here, most helpful as I have just had a 60 corvette shipped to Aus and will need to take the body off as the chassis has been messed with (rather crudely) and won't pass roadworthy. Bassically the entire crossmember has been cut out :-( .
Hey, while having a quick flick through the picture I noticed the tail lights in the rear bumpers (where the tail pipe should come out), these are just what I'm looking for as my exhaust comes out behind the rear wheels and the hole in the bumper is very ugly. Where did you get these from and at what cost?
Lastly, there are a few other parts of the car that have also been messed with - that I would like to put right, do you have any parts for sale.
My intention is to leave the vehicle relatively stock - at least at this stage.
Hi Herb I guess I am your double. I just got a letter congratulating me on my article about my corvette. I could not figure out what they were talking about. Because I don't have a corvette. I am a car nut and have had several Corvettes but I don't have one right now. I do have a 1954 Chevrolet Bel-Air it is on Car Domian under ripp37 if you want to look at it. I also have a article on it. I like your 60 Vette I had one when I met my wife 46 years ago. Herb Turner
Do you have any shots of the country side in Ohio?? I go back there about 3-4 times a year....in the area around Salem and down into Carroll county. My family farm is still there. I love the rolling countryside.
