Greattt! great perspective - great lenswork. Janet Napolitano should have taken you to Washington along with Jan Lescher. Barry, I am awed by your eye for perfect pics, picks, etal.
Hiya! So I've enjoyed myself immensely, looking at your photos. And to think that I'm not anywhere near the end of viewing just those in the "soup" folder.
I wanted to start there, because I figured it's a neat place to get a feel for the photographer, where their eyes are... and to get a glimpse of their personality/style/photographic.eye/interests/etc.
Thanks for sharing these for the rest of us to see & enjoy. I hope you don't mind that I added you to my friends list, so I can better remember to stop by here & enjoy your work some more.
Have a wonderful evening & an awesome weekend! =0) Lucinda
I've been lobbying Fotki management for 2 yrs now ... and it seems they FINALLY will be allowing a contest which distinguishes talented artists and can include artistic nudes. It's called the "Blue Ribbon" contest, and they are using my name liberally in all the announcements.
The bottom line is that I wanted to distinguish between artists, such as yourself, versus snapshot shutterbugs. I am trying to establish this contest as being more than just body-art and nudes ... I want it to be accepted as more of a "distinguished artists of fotki" which also is liberal with it's acceptance of artistic nudity.
I appreciate and respect your talent, and I hope you'll participate in this contest with some of your incredible work.
Hello Barry De Libero,
we are happy to let you know that your contest entry:

is included into Breathtaking Photo of the Moment section at Fotki home page.
Thank you for being an active Fotkin!
Yours,
Fotki team
Hi Barry, Thanks for taking the time to look at my photos. Most of them I made a little while ago and I do appreciate what you are saying. In fact, I can see it myself now so that's quite an improvement already ... I really am getting addicted to photography and I know I could become good in it but right now the lack of technical backbone is holding me back. So I decided to work on that now, only this is much more difficult to me. I was looking through your portraits and those are beautiful ... some day I hope to be able to make such beautiful pictures. Hope it is OK if I come back to your albums regularly, there is a lot to see, enjoy and learn from ! Milika
