Hey girl! Sorry to hear about the color damage! I've never colored my hair but I know some naturals that use honey and lemon juice to add natural highlights without the damaging effects. I've totally revamped my regimen and products and it seems to be working pretty well. You know the drill, cleanse, moisturize, protective style, growth.....repeat....LOL! I like your hair now! That darker color suits you! Cool! Oooh, Caribana! Sounds like fun!

I've actually gotta finish packing. I'm on my way to South Carolina for a few days to visit my Grandma and family, then it's on the Bahamas! Yippee! I'll be sure to post some facebook photos when I return!

Hey girl! My apologies for responding so late, I've been on the grind with assignments lately! Well, I miscounted...there is actually 20 of us out of the 800. LOL, better than 3, but it truly reflects the area in which we are underrepresented. The program is phenomenal! The professors are great, the students are great, it is a really nice place. I'm not digging the weather, it doesn't stay one temperature! It will be really chilly and then it will decide to be hot all of a sudden. Not feeling that aspect. At least in Chicago and Georgia you knew what the weather was going to be like throughout most of the day. I hate dressing in layers. I wanna wear one shirt and be done with it! LOL.

The hair is coming along too! I'm thinking of going on hiatus until December so I can focus on my studies a little more. Plus it'll be a psuedo growth challenge to see how far I've come since May. I'm going to update my photos one last time in a couple of days and change my status to "on Hiatus until December". I'm sure people will understand. How is your program going? Do you ever get to rate? I gave up on that a LONG time ago. The trip was fun though, I enjoyed the free lunch everyday. LOL, yay ACTFL. What are your plans after completion of the program? Will you still teach? Let me run and finish up some assignments before it gets too late. Talk to you soon! Take care!
