Hey!Sorry to get back to you kinda late, school has been getting in the way too much :(. But so far everything is going good with my hair. I've reached 18 weeks post for the first time, and so far no problems...not too sure how long I'm going to keep stretching though lol.
So how's your edges coming along?Any improvement yet? Not too sure if you've tried peppermint oil and castor oil,but I heard that they're good for thickening growth too.
Thanks so much for your comment ;) I think my ultimate goal is belly button length lol but I might settle for waist length ♥ how's everything going for you?
Hey girl!! Thanks for the compliment on my kinky twist picture. Yes i am actually planning to use a product called patience's hair growth oil. The ingredients are Sulfur, Biotin, Coconut oil, avocado, jojoba, camellia ,emu and essential oils. It is to be applied to the scalp only and to moisturize my hair i have a bottle of water mix with some vo5 conditioner and some rosewater and glycerin. Getting a protective is really good but you know that you still have to take care of the hair. Basically washing it every two weeks or so and using a leave in conditioner and what not. It is great to retain length because you will not have to constantly comb your hair out everyday. Next time, i might get a weave or some cornrows.
No prob! My journey is coming along good so far. I really want to get into wearing protective styles more often and learning how to do them as well, especially when I get past 9 weeks post.
I've been using the ORS Temple Balm for about two months now, btw.
I think it's worth you getting the ORS Temple Balm, since I'm starting too see some improvement. Most of the ingredients in it are totally natural(Horsetail,Nettle,Castor Oil,Garlic,Glycerine, etc),and it does not contain any mineral oil or petrolatum.
Just be sure to massage your edges/temples for at least 5 minutes or more, after putting it in.
