Rosa,
Thanks for your comment on our Evening reflection in the Weekly contest. Greatly appreciated as always.
I visited your Festa dos Tabuleiros - The Festival of the Trays album. It's extremly interesting and educational. Your descriptions require so much work!

Hi Rosa
I have just read you got a second place in a recent contest, well done. I don't follow the contests closely unless I have entered, so I am sorry to have missed this one. Have just been browsing your albums, you take such interesting pictures, and I see places I have never seen, which is great. I like to see the world!!!! Hope the sun is still shining in Portugal, it has left Scotland alone for a while, yesterday is poured all day, really hard, I don't know why we didn't all drown in it, but today is dry. Scotland never has two days the same :-)
Have a wonderful day, Rosa, whatever you are doing.
Slainte from Scotland

Hi Rosa,

Great start with your new camera :-)
I'm sorry but I don't have any critics, and I don't know much about lenses... but I enjoyed the album very much and I'm sure you'll get to master your camera very soon!

Another thing, I don't know how often you use the Fotki slideshow, but recently it has changed and it doesn't show descriptions anymore (yes... just like in Webshots!)

I wrote about it here in Fotki blog: http://journals.fotki.com/fotkicom/fotkiblog/entry/rwtdsqwbgfd/

It's obvious that Tala doesn't really know what I'm talking about (yes... just like in Webshots).
Well, I don't have high hopes, but if you care about this issue you may want to add a few words of your own.

Hugs,
Orly

Hello Rosa,

I hope everything is ok with you.
Thanks a lot for your kind comments and your lovely message.
The weather has become mild for this time of the year, around 11C.
The forcast is that after the weekend it will become a lot colder with some snow!!!
Hope that the weather is better in Portugal,so you can have some lovely walks with Nina and that you can test your new camera better.
It is always difficult in the beginning with a new camera.
I think I will never learn to use mine properly..lol.
So,thanks again and take care.
Hugs,Henri & Josee.

Dear Rosa,

Thanks for all your comments! A great new camera, your new Olympus E-510.
One of my favorite sites is http://www.slrgear.com/reviews/index.php
This site publishes DSRL lens reviews, at at this very moment they are reviewing some Olympus gear, including your 14-42 lens. Of course you must be curious :-)

I looked up where you live, using google maps (http://maps.google.com). Near Lisboa and the Atlantic Ocean coast!

I once visited your country, a long time ago: 26 years... Maybe some time in the future...
