I got in touch with customer service and they said it is set up that way,and if I want mine not to do that let them know, so I did.like the changes but that is the only part of the change that I did'nt like.I like that we get the comments on our own photo's the way that we do,but to get comments that others make on the photo's I comment on also is just to much for me.Kathy
Good to meet you. You have done well in founding Fotki. For me it is a way to meet people from other countries and to get a little introduction to their countries and way of life. I would like to travel but I doubt that I will be able to do very much so Fotki helps to keep a broader outlook. I have got a lot of enjoyment out of Fotki.
I have put in plenty of suggestions to the support team. However two of the main things are improvements in communication and better stats. It would be desirable to be able to automatically generate replies to queries within My Guestbook and Comments. On the stats front continuous totals by album and photos would help to know what attracts and what works. Some technique for all photos to be valued by views and ratings so that good photos trickle to the top - very necessary for search function because too many ordinary photos crowd out the more reasonable.
Fotki may not be perfect but it is good place to spend time and share photos. Cheers

Thank you for the info Dmitri,I'm new here,been here since around April of this year and glad a friend told me that I should check it out that there are a lot of nice people here,so I did and here I am LOL, Brad Bradstreet is the friend.I like it here,a lot of nice people,a lot of them has given me permission to use their photo's as the base's to my art,cool.So I sometimes put them up in a album as I work on them to show them how they are coming along,it's my "Works in progress" album,have'nt got to paint any this week and I hate that.Baby sat my great niece today that is 4 months old,that was sick with a fever and a cold and also teething,thats probally what is causing the fever.My sister has taken her to the hospital and she's going to let me know the results.She had a fever all day got 101.9 late this evening,hope she's ok.

Hi Dmitri I know that you will have had a wonderful time with Gary; we enjoyed his company so much when he visited us in Scotland.
