Hi Tom - long time no talk - hope all is well with you and yours. Have done small weekend jaunts this year - no europe - air is way too expensive for me - but traveling around here has been fun. Stop by when you have the time. Hugs from CT Susi
The f128 setting would not provide adequate DOF to include all of the eye-depth (maybe a mile and a half) in focus. ************** Yeah, but be very careful...after she PULLS you in, with her gaze, everything will become blurry and you will become intoxicated!
@@@@ I was already intoxicated...and have failed all the detox programs...would she consider "maintenance"?
Well, in spite of my bad reputation here on Fotki.. I really do have a lot of fun. The toothfairy was my costume FOR WORK! There was not one person who did not laugh out loud.. and many people just stopped by to laugh again. I rocked the toothfairy look!
This place is bleeding artists. Bdira is only one of the artists that I have had that conversation with or said good-bye to over the last year or so. And there are a lot more that are still here, but no longer participate due to the cheating and the overwhelming praise of mediocrity. (and, of course, there will be those that say my "meaness" has driven many away too. Yawn.. if anybody leaves due to a comment that I make, there were here for social inter-action, not art, and I do not count them a loss.)
Yeah, I have that view when driving in the city. Back roads to get there is cool. Come to NC one day and enjoy! I have a friend from Oregon coming here this Friday. So excited! He will have a lot of shoot, and a private photography lesson. That sounds so wrong! You know what I meant. HAHA!
HAHA! Yep, I live in the country/sticks. Well, actually I live in the town limits but when I take short cuts to get here and there, I see things like this all the time. Hugs darlin!
Hey sugar! I thought you may get a kick out of this. Many think In live in the sticks, so I had to share this photo.
You are really in the country when you have a mailbox on the side of the bridge. Apparently the land around this, and the home belongs to a sweet old lady I met. The postal carrier only stops so many places to drop off the mail, and this is the last one on his route. I guess he wont cross the bridge huh? LOL!
I just came by to see what was new, enjoyed looking at your photos. My work these day are mostly for photo illustrations for books, CD Covers, card art.
Hi Tom, Thanks ever so much for your visit. I thnk you as well for leaving such wonderful comments and compliments. It makes it so worthwhile when friends stop and do that. Hope you are having a terrific week-end. Huge Hugs, Linda :-)
