Thank you so much for all the hard work on the photo albums. I am restoring several John Deere 2-cylinder tractors and the hitch photos, and others, have kept me straight as in "a picture is worth a thousand words" Thanks again, Paul Dakin in Mississippi
I loved the info and the pics on the slant dash B. I have kept a log of everyone I have ever found or seen, and with your help, I now have added more to my log. I currently have 3 slant dash B's and I am getting ready to purchase another one. Thanks alot. Mike
Dean, Great well organized album of the old JD iron. I am an entry level collector myself and the information is very helpful to my research as well. Give me a shout on email so we can converse about some items of interest if you have a chance. Thanks, Tim
Just getting started restoring a set of JD 2 bottom plows {810 ?}I thought mine were 812.The pictures you posted are a little different than mine.My center post support brace is 1 heavy flat bar,my gauge wheel is steel.Any idea where I might find more pictures of the 810?
We just created our Account here on Fotki and stored the first photos.
Now we are surfing around, looking to make new friends and found your albums on the homepage. You share some really cute photos - thank you for sharing those parts of your life! We really enjoy looking at all of your photos. Also the tractor pictures are very interesting - here in Germany, they've got quite a few brands as well ... Mercedes, Magirus Deutz, Lanz Bulldog, Porsche Schlepper, and many more...
Well - and of course, we had to drop you a line into your guestbook ! Will add you to our friends list to stay up to date and to come around to see what's new. :-)
We'd love to invite you to visit our Albums as well - if you like ?! :-D
Dear Sir, After purchasing an original 3 point hitch at an auction today for a model A, I found that I am missing two pieces. After viewing your pictures, I have found that I am missing the left and right brackets which attach to the draw bar support. If you care to share any information on where to find these parts or plans to replicate them, I would greatly appreatiate it. Thank you for your time and pictures. Kris, Kutztown, PA
What a fantastic set of photos and a great web site. Has been extremely useful in my research on the 801 hitch and parts/purpose. You are to be commended on this web site
You are to be congratulated on a colossal set of photographs. I think it is one of the best sites around. It is pity the model numbers were not given or year produced. Keep up the good work
