What a surprise it was to find photos of my #44 Hancheck and Lerch car at the Miller Motor Sport. I built the car quite a number of years ago and it was completed just days before we brought it to the Miller Motor Sport to show at the Area Auto Racing News Display. I sold the car, but would be interested if anyone had information on where it is now.
Just came across your page and try to check out your page and take a peek at your album. When you get a chance, come by to see my pic's. ciao! http://links.fotki.com/bertha205/
Thanks for the pictures of the Troxell-Steckel house. I left PA before realizing the place existed, and have not make it back to take a look myself. These pictures were the next best thing to being there...
Thank you for letting me share some memories I was not part of. The pictures made me feel like I was there. It means more to me than you will ever know.
Very nice fleet of wreckers. I think you have a awesome collection. Keep up the great work! check out www.wreckerdriver.com to see some real toy's ( do you build any of those holmes wrecker bodies to sell?)
Great albums! Love the early modifieds ans tow trucks and wreckers! I've got my father's photo albums to scan some snapshots. There's some 60's and 70's light duty wreckers from our service station in there. We had a Texaco Station in the family for 55 years.
