Bushido Bryan, regarding the Bodie pictures, it is a Ghost Town in Arrested Decay. Meaning that they are preserving the area so that it does not fall into further decay. It is a National Park now and at one time, it was the richest city in the United States, as it was a mining town. At one point the city had over 2,000 buildings and had more god than Fort Knox. There is a website that you can check out, not a lot on it, but cool I guess. WWW.Bodie.com

Thanks for the comments on my wildlife photos. I shoot lots of stuff, but wildlife is my main interest. I shoot mostly in Michigan and Ohio, but sometimes in Tennessee and Arizona. The west coast of Lake Erie is filled with parks and wildlife refuges because most of the migratory birds will fly around the lake instead of across so they can take advantage of the thermals. Hopefully this year I'll get some good wild eagle shots. I've been seeing alot more the last couple years and they seem to be making a resurgence. The hummingbirds should also be back next week from the Yucatan.

i got a little taste when i was stationed in germany. i got to visit many places in europe, and realized that i really liked traveling.
i hope to do it again and explore many more places, as a civilian this time. being a civilian is great. lol

Thanks for the excellent comments on my photos. I was stationed in Okinawa for one year and got to spend four months of that up on the side of Mt.Fuji. That was a great time but eventually had to return from Honshu to the Ryukans.
