Don't let the RAW workflow scare you away, Breane. That is a nice shot and a good start in the studio. If you have any questions about any of it, please ask.
Hey, Bre, you're in luck. I just got back from a major trade show, where Adobe announced a free wed-based version of Photoshop coming up. In the interim, I would suggest looking into Picasa, which is free editing software from Google.
Oh, and if you need any help in understanding Photoshop, please feel free to ask. My adjustment of Lauren's gown was simple: Filters > Diffusion That makes the highlights glow a little.
Hi my name is Abe and I'm on here trying to make friends with other photographers. I am not trying to be nosey or sound like a nosey guy but I read a journal message you wrote not sure when you wrote it but a similar experience happened to me and I actually went to get a lawyer and sued the lady for stealing my pictures. I would highly recommend you do this! It would not be fair on your part if someone went out there saying they took the pictures and that pictures end up making a big deal. Do you know what I'm saying? I really see you were trying to help someone but most people who cant afford to pay a photographer to take pictures of there children or let alone pay you back for prints usually cant help themselves and there are reasons people get to the point of no money it happens because 9times out of 10 the put themselves in that place. Like I said not sure when that was written but I felt to voice my opinion. Hope things get better for you. I see you are in the Navy maybe you can get JAG to help you with this???? Thank you for serving the USA!!!
good to hear from you. look forward to the pictures. I see you've added an album but no pics yet... look forward to seeing the pictures of kids pee'ing on the beach !! (also interested to see what the USS is?)
nice new shots I've had a look at. Interesting comments about the dust on your camera, I wouldn't have noticed!!, also see you are off to a marine boot camp (?), look forward to seeing what you capture on the camera!!
thanks for stopping by, I've had a quik look at your pictures, sorry bit pushed for time at the mo to leave too many comments, will try and get back tomorrow. take it easy Jerry

I had missed that I desaturated her shoe, and I shouldn't have.
I will fix that.
THANKS.

I know what you mean, my friend has always used Canon and he thinks they are slightly better than the digital Nikons, but I like my D50 Nikon!
Hope your camera is ok!
