Thank goodness for the 100-400 lens. I also am uploading the pictures I took at the Central Park Zoo today.
I'm truly considering the 24-105mm f/4.0. One day when you find time could you please take some shots with it on the 20D and compare them to the 17-85. I'm curious to see how much I lose on the wide angle and gain on the telephoto. I also wondering if it's worth spending $1250. Will I gain alot? I know I'll have to get it when I finally go full frame but do I need it now?
Thanks for all you help. Dave
P.S I'm still waiting for the school to send me the brochure.
Thanks for your comment on my moon. I used a tripod. I'd edit my pictures. I don't know how. I want to take the class you are taking and then do the digital phography class.

Hi there!! Thank You very much for your vote in the B&W contest. RR
I was trying out my new 100-400 f/4.5-5.6L with 2x tele-convertor last night. I was shooting the moon at 800mm. Check out the rotation of the moons south pole in less than 2hrs. It went from 5 o’clock to 7 o’clock it actually was tracking the hour. This is totally weird. Please comment.
Hi. Thank you for your vote on my B&W. Although I was trying to reflect a normal, day-to-day life of a dog in my home country, too many people found it very sad, and I’m sorry (for the picture) if you’re one of them. Next time I’ll post a more cheerful material.
