Nice to be back to do some catchup on your work, Boris. I love the textures. You do well with hair and fabrics, especially sweaters. Your B&W work is very commendable.
Thank you very much for your visit. I hope you enjoyed the photos in the different albums. Don’t hesitate to come back whenever you want to check out what you are interested for
Thanks to whoever set up this website. Luckily for me though, I have TONS of my own personal photos of Upsala from 1985 - 1989 and even of the last homecoming game! Its was sad to see the condition of the school now but I am heartened by my own memories and my own personal store of pictures! You have done a good thing here, I hope others will appreciate it!
Your "A Picture a Day (or two) while walking my Dogs(and such)February 2011" folder showed up in the Fotki Feed corner of my.fotki page. How do you get so many people to let you put your lens in their faces? They wouldn't tolerate it around here. As usual, the trip through your folder was worth my time. Thanks for sharing.
Boris, I enjoyed your pictures a lot , especially portraits – you catch very expressive emotions. Great ! bz<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Just one more note, dearest Boris--I'm glad you enjoyed my collection of "Signature Tags". Each of these tags was made for me by some of the greatest artists on the web. This hobby is quite addictive; and each siggy has a special meaning for me. I would be delighted to have your Mom look at my collection; and I'd be happy to share the names of some of the delightful artists who create the personalized signature tags. Above all, I would enjoy chatting with her in the days and weeks ahead.
My dearest Boris--Thank you for your note and for your very thoughtful compliments. I appreciate them greatly. I got a chance to look at a few more of your delightful albums last night/early this morning--as you will see from my notes. I often get carried away with my letter-writing--especially when I come across photos that remind me of events that took place during my earlier days. It's so nice to be reminded of those special moments of yesteryear, as well as the people who were so dear to our hearts many years ago. I do miss the "good ole days" when life seemed to be in the slower lane. Everyone seems to be in a big hurry to get to nowhere these days. If I had my way, we'd go back to the horse and buggy days--like the Amish people in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. I often envy these lovely people of their slow pace to life. Hope the snow has melted enough for you to get in your daily walk. Happy day! Sweet Caroline
