It's been more than a year since turning myself in a passive mode here on Fotki... The main reason is a tremendous growth of activity at Zorz Studios resulting from greater exposure, increasing referrals and bookings, taking on new artistic projects, travel, establishing a shared location in our Manhattan studio, and active presence on Facebook.

I would love to make a comeback to Fotki to share all the spectacular work we did... but need to allocate time for that - a seemingly impossible task nowadays...

I don't really know who put these pictures together, however, they are terrific !! It has been many years since we were a crew in the I.O. and Gulf of Oman but I remember the events well. "Keep the bright side in sight, we're just 73 days from Perth Austrailia." The Haddock was a turning point in my career, and Capt. Dan was the best I ever served. I am sorry to say that I was at a reunion for the Segundo SS398 (an earlier Boat of mine) and a friend there told me that D.K. Bacon has died. It didn't set well with me. He was way too young. But as the song says "Only the good die young." You have my email so write to me if you want, I'd love to hear from you.

O WHAT A TIME I HAD THERE IN MY YOUTH. I SEE THE HILL STILL HAS THE TREES AT THE BOTTOM OF IT. THE TREES I RAN INTO WHEN I MISSED THE NETTING. GOOD TO SEE IT AGAIN NOW THAT I'M 50 AND HAVE A GRADNSON WE HOPE TO MAKE IT UP THERE SOON WHEN WE GET THE CHANCE.
