Loved your Colorado elk album Al. Well done, as usual. I know a fellow who's looking for some elk photos. If it's OK with you, I'll give him the URL for this album and if he finds something he's looking for perhaps you can arrive at an agreement.
Hi Al......just checking in to see what's happening. I enjoyed your LST cruise album. I'll bet you are related to one of those vets and were invited to document the reunion. Nice job.
Hello again Al. I finished your Denali album. Excellent, excellent work. And I learned about a couple of critters I didn't know about. Thanks for the fun.
Hello Al.....thanks for the replies to my comments. I didn't get a chance to finish the Denali album. I made it up to the Grizz & her cub when the Packer game came on the tube...a man has to have his priorities, right? I'll finish it later. I just caught a quick glimpse of that magpie with spread wings. FANtastic. I look forward to seeing the rest of them.
Hey all you globetrotters, check this out and make one of your own. Mine's only a teeny one. Some fotkins like Gary will have massive ones - he's visited 22% of the planet!! If you don't mind, I'd like to make an album of snapshots of each of your travels as at August 2007. If you want to participate, follow the link here:
I'm writing to you because I found your name in Fred Martel's friends list. Fred is not well & unlikely to improve. He is on a waiting list for a continuous care facility, but they aren't sure how long it will be before a room becomes available for him. I'm not sure if he is still able or well enough to access his fotki site so wondered if you would be kind enough to send him a card?
His wife thinks he would be very pleased to receive cards from his Fotki friends. The present address to send them to is:
Fred Martel c/o Glenrose Hospital Unit 4D 10230 - 111 Avenue Edmonton, Alberta, Canada T5G 0B7
Hello Al...thanks for the comeback. You asked what I'm working on.....mostly, I'm working on building a new garage. In the photo world, I'm big into sports stuff for the high school. Summer baseball started tonight (we lost 4 to 2) and I'm honing my baseball instincts again after dealing with track, softball, soccer and golf earlier this spring. It takes a game or two to get the timing back but I think I'm learning how to adapt to low light shooting again. High ISO noise reduction compensation helps a lot. Anyway....not much time for any other photos until the garage is built. I'm tearing down the old one this week.....pouring the new slab next week, barring rain. Have fun in Colorado.
Thanks Al. I appreciate your comment. I'm really happy to know you think I know how to use the light. Wow. :-))) Roza
