Al............thanks for your kind comments. I appreciate the offer but you really don't have to send me a photo. It was amusing to see if I could identify some of your birds. Intellectually stimulating. I'm a hydro-biologist but have had some courses in ornithology. I'm hardly an expert. Perhaps you should wait for positive ID before you send out copies of these beautiful photos.
Hello................I found your site through Viviane. I've enjoyed your bird photos. Have to visit the in-laws for Thanksgiving now, but I'll be back to see your Galapagos folder. Always wanted to go there.
P.S. Can you tell me a bit about the equipment you use to get such nice bird shots.
Hi Al, How is Evansville? Have you traveled a lot lately? I have been looking for new stuff here regularly but not much activity lately, so I hope you are shooting in the most wonderful places! All the best, Viviane
Hi Al, Just bought myself a book on digital camera's and photographing. I hope I can better my pics a bit when I've finished it...I read the stuff you sent me too and it was an eye-opener! I must admit that I did not understand all of it...but hey, I tried anyway :), and lots of the suggestions were not possible with my camera! At least I understand a bit on histograms now, thanks a lot! Viviane
Hi, I just discovered your site thanks to Viviane. You travelled a lot and made amazing pictures. Are you a professional ? I really enjoyed nature and travels too. For sure, I will come back and spend some time in your albums to grab some inspiration. André
Hi, just to say hello! Had a look at your pictures tonight! Enjoyed it as always. It is a little bit quiet at your site isn't it? I got the email tonight so I wondered everything allright? Regards, Viviane
Just to inform you that I am working very hard trying to understand the histogram secrets! Very busy week though...lots of people coming around for dinner (they all think the quality of my food is much better than the quality of my pictures!)so not too much progress made!
Thanks for replying! That's a great camera, I know!...but it is the way you use it that makes the difference! Stunning pictures! I think you are very lucky to have such beautiful animals around to take pictures from too !
Thanks for visiting my site. I enjoyed your bird photography this morning and I wonder...what camera /lenses do you use? I presume you cannot come very near to this little creatures? The pictures are very crisp though!
