Hi again Al. I really enjoyed the rest of your Texas album. Great job as usual. I was able to I.D. a couple of your unknowns (see comments). Alaska is a LONG drive.....take a few spare tires along. There's places along the way where it's 400 miles between gas stations. I live in Glenbeulah....a small village about half-way between Sheboygan and Fond du Lac.
Geez Al.....you've outdone yourself in the bird shot department. I'm only up to photo #36 in the new album and I've seen some birds I've never heard of. I'm coming back for more later. School tomorrow and I have to be up early.

Thanks for viewing and taking time to comment on Texas images. I went down to South Padre Island for the spring migration "fall out" when the winds are from the north so the birds are fatigued from flying across the gulf and become very tolerant of photographers. As it was, the winds blew from the south for several days, so the birds did not "fall out" as I had hoped. They just kept flying north.
I will be driving north to Alaska and passing through Wisconsin in middle July. Which town do you live in?

Wow...wow...wow...Al, I meant only to pop in and take a quick look at the Alaska photos. I was swept away and basked in the entire slide show. I want to leave your site and go straight to Northwest and make airline reservations. I thought I wasn't going until June...now I'm not sure I can wait! You have captured so much...I should have seen this sooner. Wow again. -Dawn
