Glad you stopped by. So, you're a writer, too! Cool. Our economy has been shaky lately, as I'm sure you know. So my freelance writing has dried up a bit and I'm scrambling to replace the income.
I wrote a novel two years ago that I almost got published (twice) but it all broke down during the negotiations. The publisher decided I wasn't a celebrity and therefore would not sell a trillion copies of my first novel, so I wasn't worth their time. It was discouraging, but I'm still writing other stuff - mainly for me.
I also teach a writer's group at my church. We bring in guest authors and live vicariously through their success. LOL. Hopefully some day I'll have my own.
It was fun looking at your work. I, too am a makeup artist. I was represented by Next in NYC for many years, but now I am married and live in a boring state and just do commercial stuff. But, it pays the bills without making me go into an office, so I'm okay with it.
