Hi Alan, Thanks for visiting. Yes, I remember the evet. I do visit my hometown every now and then, it is only an hour by train from where I live but we donot have a train station in my town so it takes almost same time to get at the station...I live in the largest town without a train station...can you imagine? After my accident I have not been out a lot on my own, I do not feel very secure yet so I have to wait for my husband to have some time and go together. But things are going a bit better now and I hope to be able to enjoy the rest of summer . Next time when you are around let me know, I will buy you a drink in Antwerp! :) Viviane
Hi Alan and Dianne How goes it? Hope all is well with both of you. We are having a lovely spell of weather; it has been very dry, but last evening we had very heavy sustained rain for about 3 hours. The ground needed it, but unfortunately I was out in it, luckily I had my raincoat and brolly. Hope your day has been good. Slainte Myra
thank you so much for your message of May 9th. Been busy trying to find a house! Nothing yet. Will keep you posted. Hope everything is going fine with both of you. Thinking of you and sending you my best wishes from Canada P.S. Yes, i know about the ICE code on your cell phone. That is really a smart idea and I programmed it on my cell.
Hi Alan Thanks for your visit and the comments, made me feel good about my photography. Never happy, are you; you have some nice dry weather and you are wanting rain? I know what you mean though, but enjoy the sun while you can, it is bound to rain soon, after all this is Britain!
Dianne has been so brave; I am sure that she is happy to be finished with the chemo, I hope that after the four weeks of treatment she can relax a bit. It has been a harrowing time for you both. I know exactly what you have been going through. Sending you both a hug, all the way from Scotland.
Hi Alan...good idea about ICE contacts and implemented it straight away. Weather was terrific last week and so nice to sit outside in the warmth with a slight sea breeze drifting along Loch Ness. Had a thunderstrom yesterday evening which the garden was very pleased with...can't grow much as the deer wander around eating anything they fancy...OK with hydrangeas & rhododendrons though. The wild primroses are abundant this year and cover the roadside verges and under the shade of the woodland trees. Cheers...Lyn
Hi Alan Thanks for calling by. Yes we have had the good weather and very warm too. The garden is beginning to look good and I have been very busy tidying it up after the winter. I have also been busy digging my vegetable garden and planting a few vegetables. I have got six tomato plants in the greenhouse. Must try and take some photos. We have been busy with the lambing too. My neighbours are not too near but you can hear the cockerel everywhere in the village. We have had a terrible week with no water for three days and no cooker all week but thankfully they are all fixed now. Hope you are both well. Irene
Hi Alan, the flower you asked the idenity of was a Arisaema wilsonii. These are some of my favorite flowers! Glad to hear you are having fun in your garden and I assume your best friend Goldie is keeping you company! How can we garden without our beloved dogs? They are the best!
Hi Alan, Thank you so much for your kind comments on my work ! I hope all is well and you are enjoying Spring.. You noticed that I was earlier at the fire than the fireworkers...well that was easy! It was my neighbors car that was parked in front of the house...I took the pictures from my bedroom. I did not go outside as I am suffering from astma as you know and there was a lot of smoke. Take care my friend! Viviane
Hi Alan Thanks for the information on the ICE number. I think it is a good idea and will certainly enter it on my phone. Hope Dianne is keeping well. Irene

Hi Alan. Thank you for thinking of me when sending this very important message. I think it if a fantastic idea, and when you think of it very simple and practical and as you say could be life saving. I will certainly enter this into my mobile and tell Alan and the boys to do the same.
