Zed, you are the master of customs. I admire all that you do , and you painting and masking skills have reached a level we can all aspire to. I totally dig your work
Hello Zed seen a story about you in ROD&KULTURE you do some real nice work . I have been getting ROD&KULTURE and a few others that have rat rods in them as well as old drag gassers. and kustoms . I am sure that I will be looking at your models from time to time to see more of the models you are working on or have finished . Thats a never ending story though in the scale modeling world when you bleed plastic . LOL Well here is to a new year of modeling and many new kits that can become real cool builds. I would think that you get model car mag's such as "Scale Auto" & ModelCars .maybe you could send them so pic's of your builds and maybe get the chance to do a how to or something like that would be cool to see you get in to a issue .Well Zed I better close here take care and happy modeling......Mike * * * AKA ModelMikey Arizona . I just found your website, I think its great. My name is Gilbert Chavez and I own the yellow chopped '51 Olds people have asked about. In answer to some of the questions, it was put to the side for a while, then illness put things on hold. I'm now back into it, the car never had hydros, the wires are being replaced with '57 caddys, and replacing the coker radials with Firestone 670's. The black under carrage is being stripped and detailed with air, paint and chrome. The interior will be almost the same with a few changes. Although the paint is still as good as when I first got the car, the paint will be done over close to original with changes to the scallops. Under hood will be detailed with paint and chrome (looking for 6-deuces) for stock 303????). I'm looking to have the car look stone 50's, and able to drive anywhere. If this messge goes throgh, I'll send pictures. Thanks for your asking

Zed, Looking at more of your pics on the 59 Skyliner. You were brave enough to show us some of the "flaws" in your paint job but they are invisible in the finished model. How did you fix them? And what was that you appeared to be soaking the painted body in? Hope you don't mind my trying to pick your brains. I'm a pretty good painter but I figure it's better to learn what I can from you rather than doing trial on error myself. Thanks, Steve
Zed, I am checking out your masking steps as you suggested on TRAK. Especially interested in your work on "Lisa." It looks like you may have outlined the masked area using a fine line tape. Is that correct and did you lay it down first or after the wider tape?
Hello Zed, I've seen your kool kustoms on Spotlight Hobbies' message board and really enjoy them! Your latest '58 Impala is beautiful - you have way more patience than I would to make those gorgeous multi-color panel paint jobs! Thanks! By the way, I made you a friend and hope that's okay!
Zed, you are doing some amazing work, buddy. Listen, would you mind giving a how-to tutorial on how you do the making on our forum?
