Thank you very much for your lovely comments on my pictures :), just packing my bagpack for another trip, in one month there will be one more album to watch from Peru and Bolivia trek, wish me good luck :)
Good morning, I spent half of my life in the West Indies and Belize. Lived on a boat, also went to school at Christ Church. I will add you as a friend, like to here of your adventures.
Hi Peter, thanks for the recent comments. I like your idea with the shed at Podmore Pool, I'll have a go at that. Kate and her freind hire boats you can recognise them by the pirate flags!! Gary.
Dear Peter, just had a look at your Grand Union Canal album. it reminded me of cycle rides to the Bridgewater Canal I made as a child. We used to cycle 4 and a half miles to Dunham and follow the canal to Lymm and beyond. Will be back soon, best wishes, Gary.
Hi Peter, just had a look at your footpaths album. it looks like your paths are in the same state as ours. I'll have to come back to visit your canal photos now I'm back on fotki. (I had computer problems). Best wishes, Gary.
Like your footpath album - nice to know. Keep walking and keep those footpaths out there - you never never know I might use them if I ever return from the colonies.
Your right and thanks for letting me know that I had originals available only to me. I didn't realize that. Btw, they are not "stolen". I took them myself. Enjoy access to the originals. :-)
Hello, thanks for leaving a message in my guestbook. I was living in Boulder in 1962, but was only 8 years old at the time. My stepfather was working in the Great Boulder mine in 1962, and I had uncles and cousins in Chaffers and Trafalgar mines. I did work at the Lake View and Star mine for a short time later (1971), but all of these mines have been swallowed up by the Super-pit now. I've enjoyed browsing your photos. All the best
